Imperial War Museum North
You'll find the museum in Salford near the Lowry Centre - very popular. Mainly concerned with the two World War but covers modern day conflict as well.
Rather jingoistic for my taste but no doubt that is the cynic in me coming out.
Rather grand but unusual looking structure. The coach gives some perspective & allows us to grasp the sheer scale of the building. I'm not sure how many of the ex servicemen would appreciate it though.
