First try .....  at Monochrome Monday .....

I've shown this photo before - somewhere in North Africa - sometime between 1939 - 1945 ??

Photo found in my late father's collection of photograghs

See about Monochrome Monday at http://aileni.blogspot.com

I'll now be spending time scanning lots of old black and white photographs - the tasks we set ourselves ......

This picture makes me wonder what their lives were like. There is always a story, if only we knew it. I love old photographs. Unfortunately, there are many of people I do not know. I wish they had names on the back.

Penguins - move your cursor and take them for a walk !!

Say it as it is ......

Shoot for the moon, even if you miss, you'll land amongst the stars.

Look around !!!

What is this life, full of care,

We have no time to stand and stare?
