The Past

The past is a foreign country: they do things differently there.

Cinema trip

Went to the cinema today - Vue at Bury, Lancashire. Cost £11.50 for two which I thought was rather expensive . Next time I go to the cinema it will be a Wednesday ( Orange Wednesday - two for the price of one ! )

The film in question was " In Bruges " with Colin Farrell, Brendon Gleeson and Ralph Fiennes . Written and directed by Martin McDonagh. The story centres on two Irish "hitmen" who end up lying low in Bruges after a hit goes wrong.

Amusing at times, I quite liked the film and it held my interest.
I have been to Bruges a couple of times - what a tourist trap that place is ! but very old world and pretty. However far too much swearing for my liking and of course full of violence as one would expect with "hitmen".
