Monochrome Monday - 6th October

Continuing the black and white theme on Monochrome Monday....

This is a more modern photo ( taken 2003 ) and shows an old water pump.

It has become a tourist attraction in Guardamar on the Costa Blanca of Spain and many tourist photos have been snapped ...

I have a near identical sepia photograph on my other Blog  -

Benches are such classic images, espcially in mono. Such a timeless quality.

I looked at your sepia too and I like them both a lot. Looks like a very picturesque place.

I love the contrast of the "old" backdropped by the "new"... As someone else said: "Timeless"...

What a beautiful photo, imagine when it was working, back in time... Loved the sepia version as well!
Thanks for stopping by and for your sweet words on my Mono post!

Interesting shot of the old water pump in front of the modern buildings and electric lights.

This shot could have been taken in 2003 or 1930. It is timeless. BJ
