The Past

The past is a foreign country: they do things differently there.

Monochrome Monday - 27th October

This ornate fountain can be found in the local park in Guardamar on Spain's Costa Blanca.

The finish to the photo is classified as antique ( somewhat like me )

This is lovely. It looks like an old postcard or something of the sort. I like that finish.

What I love is the way the fountain is framed. Is that in the shot itself, or is it actually in a frame? I shot something like that at a wedding once where the couple was a distance off and I caught them through a round opening in the top of an iron fence.

Very compelling.

That's a very artistic take on the theme.
