Todmorden - Market
I must admit straight away that I do not like markets and I was not impressed with the one at Todmorden.
The outside market seemed to be selling a lot of junk. The goods on sale in the inside market were often popular in the 50's 60's and would have been bought by my mother - it seemed like going back in time ..
No doubt some people will think it is a wonderful place - but not me.

Parish Church of St. Mary - Todmorden
It's hard to realise that this pleasant little church is right in the centre of Todmorden.

If you are a Veggie or a Vegan then Bear Cafe is the place to go - you'll find it in the centre of Todmorden on the first floor above the Co-Operative store.A very pleasant place to eat.

Todmorden
It will soon be Easter and the tradition time for starting work in the garden. With this in mind we set of for Gordon Rigg's garden centre at Walshaw but on the way decided to drop into Todmorden and take a few pictures .
Todmorden lies in the Pennine Hills between Lancashire and Yorkshire and is dominated by moorlands that surround the town. The Rochdale Canal passes through the centre of this quite pleasant town.
