This picture of Dorothy and Hilda Francis - my mother and her sister , was taken at their confirmation at All Saints' Church, Stretford on the 18th March 1930.They actually attended St.Hilda's Church in Old Trafford and the service was conducted by the Lord Bishop of Hulme.
Times have certainly changed ...
