You'll find Ordsall Hall in Salford not far from the Exchange Quay metro station.
With parts 820 years old this Tudor mansion has been in the past a farm, home, church hall and working men's club. The name of the hall first appeared in print in 1177.
For three hundred years it was the home of the Radclyffe family who moved in around 1335.

A superb building.
Splendid building!
I am fascinated by the evolution of architecture through the centuries, some styles are more attractive than others but I am not sure that nowadays we excel at creating buildings which will last for generations like this one...
Kind regards, DeeBee
What an amazing building. I'm staying at Clippers Quay in mid July and may have a sunday afternoon walk there.
