Odd corner

Here we have an odd corner of a very ornate and Victorian building - Manchester Town Hall.

Very imposing - it was built in the time cotton was king and the city had new wealth.  The building was a symbol of the city's wealth and industry.

it is a very impressive structure - the wealth of cotton is now over, but some things stay to remind us of the glorious past
