Monochrome Monday - 22nd December

Back again on Monochrome Monday after a month away in Spain.

Winter in Spain is not all sunshine - here at Guardamar on the Costa Blanca the sea is whipping up into  a frenzy .. no swimming today !

At all seasons the wind can actually make the sea here quite choppy - luckily in summer the beach is patrolled by life guards..

Hi Petrus. Thanks for visiting me at my first MM posting. I can heard the waves crashing and the wind blowing in your photo. My first thought was of my trip to Mendocino, CA early in the summer. The winds were high. The waves were wild. The air fresh and cold.

I like it - it's might and expanse and roar all wrapped in one image.

I wouldn't have imagined Spain with that weather. Wonderful monocgrome to give the waves force.

Shoot for the moon, even if you miss, you'll land amongst the stars.
