Christmas Day Wedding

This wedding took place on Christmas Day 1918 at Farnham, Suffolk between Herbert Taylor and Ellen Carter.

They all look a little bit serious - the Great War had only just ended and I would guess that there was going to be a great social upheaval so perhaps the future was a bit uncertain for them.

My parents were married on Christmas Day 1951....I always thought it an odd day for a wedding but it worked for them! I love this photo.

Penguins - move your cursor and take them for a walk !!

Say it as it is ......

Shoot for the moon, even if you miss, you'll land amongst the stars.

Look around !!!

What is this life, full of care,

We have no time to stand and stare?
