River Thames - Richmond, London

This weekend saw the family down in Richmond, Surrey for a wedding.

Richmond is a very pretty place - the River Thames flows through the centre of the town

Here is the River Thames ..

Nearby can be found Hampton Court and Kew Gardens .. Just a short journey away ..

Central London can be reached by the Underground in about 40 minutes ..

Southern England has had a lot of rain this spring and the fields near the banks of the River Thames are flooded ..

Lots of boats on the Thames - it is possible to take a pleasure boat up into London ..

A nice area !

Interesting shots of the activity along the River Thames. The colorful smaller boats with the bridge background is my favorite.

Penguins - move your cursor and take them for a walk !!

Say it as it is ......

Shoot for the moon, even if you miss, you'll land amongst the stars.

Look around !!!
