Valencia founded by the Romans in BC 138 is Spain's third city - a busy vibrant place, the city is circled by the dry river bed of the Rio Turia.
This river bed has been developed into gardens , sports areas and the City of Arts and Science - Ciutat de les arts i de les ciencies.
Situated not too far from the city centre - walk or take the local bus. This covered garden has a wonderful display of cacti.

The photos are fantastic when opened up! What incredible architecture - that's what I love about Europe. It's not even close to Canada's architecture. Pop by to see my "V" today! :D
Great shots of a nice place.

Very nice post for V. I like your Cornwall garden guy who needs a haircut also :0)
Fascinating place. I didn't know about Valencia...thanks for the info.
I like the statue.....nice.
I think I need to go back to visit places I saw 40 odd years ago. Things have changed or my memory is defective.
