Christmas Market - St. Ann's Square

You'll find the Christmas markets all around Manchester - certainly spreading in size as the years go by.

This is St. Ann's Square.

The Manchester one is reputedly good if you like that sort of thing.

strangely enough I went there this afternoon - to Exchange Square - near the cathedral I was approached by two young ladies who gave me a plastic rose - I thought they must be promoting the market but the message on the piece of paper said something about wanting some money and missing their mum in Romania - I gave them the rose back and wished them a Merry Christmas and they went off looking for another mug.

Shoot for the moon, even if you miss, you'll land amongst the stars.

Look around !!!
