The Past

The past is a foreign country: they do things differently there.

The Pig

A surprise visitor to the Hollingworth Lake Visitor Centre last Sunday morning - him (or her) and a friend were wondering around the road much to the delight of the onlookers.

I guess they must have escaped from a pen somewhere - this one is determined to have a good scratch on the post.

Spring Time

Spring is here and one of the main signs is the appearance of our well loved daffodil. Brightening up our cities, towns and countryside.

Have been away on my travels recently hence no posts since the end of February - hopefully if the weather remains pleasant then I'll be able to get out and about with my camera ..

These photographs were taken around Hollingworth Lake in Rochdale this last Sunday - a beautiful sunny day which attracted quite a few visitors to the area.

Penguins - move your cursor and take them for a walk !!

Say it as it is ......

Shoot for the moon, even if you miss, you'll land amongst the stars.

Look around !!!

What is this life, full of care,

We have no time to stand and stare?
