Set in contemporary Shanghai - the murder of Yin is investigated by Sergeant Yu with the help of our hero Inspector Chen Cao.
The details of life in China and the events of the Cultural Revolution are really interesting - ( the cultural differences from the West are so wide ! ) but I found this book rather slow with its storyline.
Shall not be reading anymore from that series .. sorry
