Beckfoot, Cumbria is on the Solway Firth near Carlisle which is on the England / Scotland border .It looks rather desolate place -cold and lonely - all our big river estuaries seem to have this look of desolation however they seem to abound with very important fauna and flora.
Looks like a place of peace !
