PhotoHunt - Public


Public is the word today and what better than Public Transport.

This rather old tram is wending it's way around the streets of Sofia in Bulgaria - a very cheap form of transport for the Public but a bit if a rickety ride ..

    i wish we have trams here. it's cheap, no air and noise pollution. great shot.

    Maybe an old tram but it is still looking quite sleek and stylish and, more importantly, serviceable! Great shot!

    why didn't I think of public transport? We don't have the trams anymore in Auckland.

    I have never seen Bulgaria before. I think I would have to ride this at least once if I was visiting there. It looks like an adventure.

    When I was little, there were still streetcars in Ottawa but they are long gone. Unfortunately, they were replaced with buses and now, of course, there is a move within the city to install light rail. Had they kept the streetcars, we'd already be a step ahead to having cleaner transportation.
