Here the estate office of Burghley - just a few yards from where my great grandfather lived in the early 1900's .
He worked as a coachman for the estate and was killed in a coach accident in 1901 in the centre of Stamford.

Nice carving, not so nice for your grandfather, must have been a rare occurrence.
