ABC Wednesday - and we now have P for Palm.
We've all seen palm trees somewhere but who's seen them made of concrete ??
You'll find a collection of giant concrete palms here in this little square in Guardamar - all looking very attractive amongst the trees and bushes .
It was not always so - at one time the square had no trees or bushes and was frequented by " the young " on skateboards - not really an attractive place at all.
Palms of concrete - that was a new one! Maybe that should have been painted?
ReplyDeleteIt does look a lot better with the plants grown in!! Happy day to you.
ReplyDeleteOh neat... that's super cool! Gigantic concrete palm trees. Guaranteed to stay put even in the strongest of the winds! But watch out for those concrete coconuts. Ouch! =D

It's very artistic! It looks all very new to me. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThat would make an OddShot too - concrete palms.
ReplyDeleteI am acting as Denise Nesbitt's proxy, Petrus - so thanks for submitting work to ABC Wednesday.
Yes, this is unique! We have hardy palms here in Vancouver, BC but I know your concrete ones will survive well as they don't need any water at all. :)
ReplyDeleteMuch prefer the re thing, but for a photographer a dream shot.
ReplyDeleteConcrete Palms for a concrete jungle.
ReplyDeletePERFECT!!
Bear((( )))
Thank you for sharing your letter'P'
ReplyDeleteNice Photo.
Have a nice day.
Lovely palm sculptures! Quite novel in white contrasting beautifully with the green of living plants!
ReplyDeleteI love the concrete palms. Have a nice day!
ReplyDeleteThose are lovely! And oddly enough, though I like the square both ways and am very fond of greenery, I like the second picture better!
ReplyDeleteThose are sure cool looking palms and though no palms in my area.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on.
Great post!
