I felt that I was running out of suitable photographs to load to my Rambler Blog. So a few days ago, I travelled from Manchester one sunny morning on the train to Liverpool with the intention of taking quite a few photographs of this city made famous by the Beatles.
First problem was that it was very dull and not the weather for taking photographs -
Second problem - the batteries in my camera failed and I could only take two pictures -
and here they are ..........

ReplyDeleteFancy going all that way... It as happened so many times in the past I now have two sets of rechargeable batteries, and always carry the spare fully charged set with me... 'L' could also be for lesson... as there is one to be learned here.

Ahh Liverpool. Back in the 70's I was there with a Christian Rock band and we sang in some of the churches and auditoriums. It was fun to sing where the Beatles got their start...

ReplyDeleteOh, tsk, a shame about the batteries but still 2 photos are better than none and they are splendid photos at that! Very nice and colorful and gives us a look into Liverpool and I will stay tuned for the next travel time to take to Liverpool!

Oh the battery problem...............I have the same from time to time! LOL! We had a lovely afternoon in Liverpool a couple of years ago!

I only went to Liverpool once. That was on a Choir Outing from Alton in Staffordshire. I was very impressed.
